Some colostrum companies separate the cow from her calf before the calf drinks the colostrum it needs. This causes stress in the cow and is unfair to the calf.

Live by Heart’s Feeling Good Pure Colostrum is different. We believe the calf comes first. Our colostrum comes from USDA Grade A dairies where newborn calves first drink everything they need from the cow and then we extract the rest within 24 hours post-partum. Calves only need about 1/3 of the total colostrum a cow produces.

This is a big deal because it is believed that the stress an animal feels can come across in the product. Taking a baby away from any mom is very stressful! 🙂
